The work was created in Salaam Cinema Baku-Art Temple, located in the heart of the city of Baku, Azerbaijan.
This place has been through a lot of changes over time. This object carries within it the echoes of various historical epochs, each leaving an indelible mark on its identity. It started as a prayer house in Malacca, where people gathered to pray and connect. Then, during the Soviet Union days, it became a radio station, broadcasting news and messages. After that, it was left empty for a while until the Salaam community came along in 2019 and decided to preserve its history. Now, it stands as a symbol of the different chapters it has seen, from prayer to broadcasting and now, community care.
