The Organisation:
Floating EKA is a not-for-profit Cultural Foundation. We create meaningful and productive relationships between artists, cultural organisations, and communities in the Baltic Sea Region to address social and environmental issues and work together toward common goals. It was established in 2020 by a team of international artists, cultural managers, and NGO professionals. The head office is in Poznan, Poland but the team works globally.
The Position:
A unique opportunity to gain experience in digital fundraising and social media marketing within the international socio-cultural startup. Social networks Facebook, Instagram, Patreon, and newsletters of the Foundation are conducted in English. We need a remote editor of English texts, who can devote about 5 hours a month to the project on a volunteer basis.
Requirements:
- English proficiency – C1 or higher
- Polish proficiency will be an advantage
- Good writing skills
- Interest in art management and latest trends in participatory art, art festivals, site-specific art
- Previous experience as a translator/editor preferred
