"I Inherit What You Lost" Artistic Lab Open Call
Are you an artist passionate about exploring the heritage that reminded us of challenging times in the 20th century in Eastern Europe, Eastern Partnership countries and Central Asia? If so, Floating EKA invites you to be part of our "I Inherit What You Lost" artistic laboratory.
We're extending our warm invitation to artists aged 18 and above, originating from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, and Russia to apply.
Within this project, we will uncover the hidden gems of "dissonant heritage" within our cities, offering you, the artists, a platform to craft meaningful and impactful artworks.
At the core of our initiative lies a three-day Artistic Laboratory in Szczecin, Poland, set for the end of March 2024. We'll bring together activists, researchers, opinion leaders, and 10-12 artists from Eastern Partnership countries and Central Asia, who will be selected through an open call.
Throughout the Virtual Lab, artists will collaborate closely with project curators to refine and develop their artistic concepts, preparing them for execution and presentation at the exhibition in Szczecin upon arrival.
